| Artist Statement: | “Scrappy Collage Cat” is an addition to my Cat Series art quilts. I chose to make this quilt a multi-colored collage. Although outlandish, I think this version looks quite a lot like my tabby cat, Stripes. Her green eyes came out bright and lifelike, just like the eyes of my feline friend when she was alive and happy. The other quilts in the series are “Black and White Cat“, “Complementary Colors Cat” and “Abstract Cat.” |
