| Techniques: | Twenty 8 in x 7 in pieced photos printed on fabric, surrounded by 854 2-inch black and white squares. I quilted around each photo to make the photos pop, and I quilted along the sashing. Black and white squares were quilted in the ditch. Hand bound. |

| Artist Statement: | I made this quilt as a personal gift for my parents for their 60th wedding anniversary. The quilt is a medley of special photos from their lives. On the back I added a special message to mark the event on a handmade label. If you want a special gift of heirloom quality, I can do the same for you. This is a totally personalized work of art. My parents said they couldn’t imagine a more wonderful present! |
