| Artist Statement: | Last spring, we went to the botanical gardens in Jerusalem with our grandson so he could see the different kinds of plants and trees that grow where we live. He marveled at all the colors and scents. In this layered-collage portrait, I caught him gently holding and smelling some daisies. While the flowers tickled his nose, he laughed and crinkled up his face. |
