|Artist Statement:||The design is a sunflower wafting in the wind in a field in Israel. In the spring sunflowers grow in fields along the main roads with their faces turned upwards toward the sun. Using the stained glass technique, I challenged myself to capture the beauty of this scene in this quilt.
