| Artist Statement: | For my first attempt at landscape quilts, under the instruction of Phyllis Cullen, I chose Tel Dan in northern Israel as my focus. I used my photo of the site to create a quilt with moving water, purple trees, three dimensional depth and foliage with peeking skies. It was a fantastic experience and the quilt contains so many surprises. |
