| Artist Statement: | This crab was wandering along a road in Northern Israel. Its coloring was exactly like this quilt — purple and orange. It was climbing on rocks and hiding, trying not to be seen. To make the quilt lifelike, I appliquéd and thread painted the crab using metallic threads so it shines and pops out of the quilt. |
