Hi Cindy – I am Carol Rocklin-Siegel, a friend of Meryl Cohen in Bet Shemesh. I am very interested in taking a course on quilting from you — I now do what I call, “Appliquéd tapestries”…
They are not quilted, but appliquéd pieces of dyed and embroidered images on a painted fabric ground.. I need to learn and explore more techniques – stretching my art a bit further. Hi, I’m not sure how i found your site but i did . I live in Jerusalem .
My friends 40 year old daughter died and i would like to make a kids size parochet for our shul, for them .(for the holidays ).
I’m not really a great sewer. I have my singer sewing machine from the states that only goes straight and zigzag.(45 years old – and does work with a trasformer )
So i wondered if this was the time to buy a new one .
Could you tell me the prices of the three you mentioned above and how they will help me make the project easier , better , etc…..

I LOVE your landscape quilts! I am hoping to make aliyah in 2017, making a pilot trip right after Simchat Torah. Do you know of quilters I might be able to meet in the 3 cities I’m considering–Ma’alot, Yerucham, and Tzfat? I will not have a lot of time as I will be a volunteer on the Sar-El program during the two+ weeks I’ll be in Israel.

Hi Cindy, Do you ever give classes in Tel Aviv? I’ve been quilting for only about 1 year and would like to learn to do some free motion quilting by machine. I’m not “an artist” — have been making mostly small quilts for preemies at the hospital. Do you know anyone in TA that teaches quilting?
