They are not quilted, but appliquéd pieces of dyed and embroidered images on a painted fabric ground.. I need to learn and explore more techniques – stretching my art a bit further. I’ve been quilting for only about 1 year and would like to learn to do some free motion quilting by machine. I’m not “an artist” — have been making mostly small quilts for preemies at the hospital.
