It isn’t like moving from NY to Chicago. I know my kids are on board and also believe in what we decided for them, but it doesn’t make it easier watching them leave each time in uniform.

Daily prayer kept us all more in balance as it is a rather unbalanced way to live. 19 yr-olds should be playing basketball and going to college and dating and hanging out with friends. But we have all chosen to be part of something bigger…. building Israel and it has required more of us and our children. A decision none of us regret.
I am happy to find that there are other quilters here in the Land… another way to bring beauty and a little sanity to our lives 🙂
