Small Black Canvas Tote Bag with Shabbot Applique

Quite a few people have asked me to make a bag specifically for carrying to synagogue with the word Shabbot (Sabbath in Hebrew) appliqued in felt across the front. I finally bit the bullet and came up with this handmade, stylish, small weekend tote bag, made of strong canvas 100% cotton fabric. The bag is light; cute and washable. Available in other colors on my Etsy shop.

Batik Quilted Weekend Tote Bag with Yo Yo or Flower

The bag has a cute yo yo with a button that adds to its beauty. It’s light; it’s cute and it’s washable.
(Yo yo can be replaced with a flower if you prefer. See black&white with flower.)

Machine-pieced and machine-quilted 100% cotton fabric. Handles are filled with cotton batting for added comfort.

Dual Tote Bag and Purse: Two handbags in one!

This lovely, handy, multi-purpose, dual tote bag / purse is made of vibrant, purple, batik, quilted fabric and is a great gift idea.
This bag converts from a shoulder tote with fabric straps into a purse with stylish handles and two great buttons, around which the tote handles are wound.
The handbag has three internal pockets including a cellphone pocket.
Machine-pieced and machine-quilted cotton fabric. Hand-washable.
Handles come in clear plastic, bamboo, colored plastic, or beaded, based on availability. (Clear plastic shown in photo; wire handles shown on olive green and turquoise bags is not available.) Buttons depend on availability.

Oversized Tote Bag

I made this quilted bag big enough to hold my hoop and other quilting supplies when I attend classes and workshops. I wanted something pretty and inspiring for my quilting work. I’ve been using it for years.
I pieced the log-cabin patten with traditional calico fabrics on the front and back of the bag.
Machine-pieced and machine-quilted cotton fabric with nylon straps and large inside pocket for all kinds of notions. Machine washable. Lay flat while air drying.
Dimensions: 26″ w x 24″ h
Can be customized to your color specifications.

Cosmetic Bag with Zipper

This lovely, multi-purpose, medium-size bag is made of vibrant Batik quilted fabric and is a great gift idea.
Super as a cosmetic bag or a colorful pencil case and fits neatly into your purse.
Great for holding all the little things that typically fall to the bottom of your purse. Hand-held electronics, like your cellphone, are protected by the quilted batting and fit perfectly in this bag.
As a matter of fact, it will fit and coordinate with the purple batik dual purse / tote above.
Machine-pieced and machine-quilted cotton fabric with polyester batting and a secure zipper closure. Washable.
Dimensions: 8.75″ x 5.5″ / 22cm x 14cm
Note: This Batik fabric changes tones from greens to blues and purples.
Also, the color-coordinated decoration hanging on the zipper rider may change from bag to bag. Additional batik fabrics available in blue/pink, black/white and turquoise.
